This historical building was built in 1880 for the Brandon Wagon Works. Over the years the building badly deteriorated and was rebuilt in 2002 by CSP into ten live/work spaces. The renovation carefully preserved the original wood timbers and brickwork and added lovely pine floors, tremendous access to natural light and flowing floor plans. Individual units enjoy two foot deep brick walls, high ceilings and open spaces and range from 580 to 1,200 sq. ft. Each unit comes equipped with insulated glass windows, individual energy efficient gas furnaces and central air. Tenants have access to a charming common garden and deck and units on upper floors have picturesque views of downtown Newark and local landmarks.
